The Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAEd) is a four-year degree program designed to provide students with professional education and specialized training in culture and the arts. The program emphasizes the integration of cultural knowledge, artistic skills, and pedagogical strategies to effectively teach music, visual arts, theater, dance, and other creative disciplines in schools and community settings.
Students learn to design instructional materials, conduct performances and exhibitions, integrate arts in the curriculum, and foster creativity and critical thinking among learners. The curriculum combines general education, professional education, and arts specialization courses, supported by practical experiences through teaching practicum, performances, and community-based projects. Graduates are prepared for licensure examinations and careers as culture and arts educators or arts program facilitators.
